Settings and Locations

This story is localized to a few specific areas in Rome and does not explore the entire city. The Septizodium is the main location of the adventure, as the building where the cardinals are sequestered. The Aurelian Walls are the player characters' introduction to the city, and they may use the Piazza dei Satiri as a temporary headquarters. Both the Colosseum and the Temple of Mercury house antagonists who stay hidden until discovered by the player characters.
